My game is running extra smooth with high settings and AA=2 and AF=8, I can probably go higher but it looks good anyway. I'm not sure if you have to do the same thing to the FalloutPrefs.ini file as well but I did. Save the file and change check "Read Only" again in the properties so that the game doesn't revert the change back to what it originally was. Look for a setting called "iFPSClamp=0" and change it to "iFPSClamp=60". Make sure you uncheck "read only" so you can change the setting. Go to Control Panel > Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings.Ĭlick on the Program Settings tab, and find Fallout New Vegas in the drop down list.Ĭhange these two settings to the following.Īlthough, my game could've just been fixed just by the following steps below and nothing on top did anything:Īnother thing I did, was change a setting in the fallout.ini file. I also tried the dll fix and that did nothing for me. I then tried to play with Vsync on and received input lag. I was getting 80-90 FPS and it made no sense to me. At first, the game was giving massive stuttering. ![]()
